Kimberly and the bottle

Lately when I've been giving Kimberly a bottle of apple juice she refuses to hold the bottle herself. She will hand it to me, stand next to me, and make me hold it for her. So at first I thought to myself, "I'll hold it for her this once if she really wants me to." But now she refuses to drink from a bottle unless I sit there and hold it for her which makes doing household chores...well, a chore! She knows how to drink from it and hold it herself but she refuses. However, in her defense I think it is a security for her to have me hold it...which is kinda sweet...but still a little annoying sometimes. ;)

Kimberly at 10 months

Kimberly has been taking her first steps this week. Soon she will be walking like a pro! She managed to stand up all by herself yesterday without help from anyone or thing (which I thought was impressive).
This Friday we are going to have our first family trip because we are driving up to see Kim's new baby cousin, Ethan Michael Sestak! I think Kim is excited to see her uncles, I know I am!
I posted a few videos from youtube. Enjoy!

Kimberly at 9 months

Kimberly is a fast crawler! She looks out the door window and waits for her "dada." She loves her doggy Bruce and always says "Hi Dog!" when she sees him. She pulls herself up into a standing position but only walks with assistance. Her favorite foods are goldfish, bananas, pears, and a turkey sandwich. She loves to drink apple juice and I have to watch her to make sure she doesn't find a can of Mountain Dew because she will try to drink it, too.

She just came home from the hospital! Oh the drama!

Here are some photos of newborn Kimberly Katherine Blizzard. She was born on December 5th, 2008. She was 7.7 pounds and 20 inches long. She had the cord wrapped around her neck when she was born and she scared her mommy and daddy. She had very strong lungs and her cry could be heard around the hospital!
