Kimberly anxiously awaiting her mother's return from the doctor's office.

But she is excited about seeing the ultrasound pictures!

Luke still isn't sure about being a big brother.

But he is willing to help out when he can.

Mommy was happy to announce to them that the newest family member is a BOY!

Early Spring and Our Garden

 Whee!

 Trying out daddy's new grill.
Planting watermelons with daddy.

A puppy dog? No, that is just Luke.
Kimberly testing out her new playset.

Ok, we have watermelons and carrots. Now we just need radishes and snap peas.
Kimberly is just about to push Luke down the slide.

Officially a farmer!

Kimberly loves the dress I sewed for her.

Luke stands by his sister side for the picture.

The dress has a matching apron.

Luke's Room

Luke is settling into his new room. It is all painted and newly furnished.

Kimberly thinks it is her room.

Never sleep without your trusty rifle by your side.

Complete with his favorite Schwinn Trike.

Giggles!

Kimberly is concerned because Luke is taking toys from her room and moving them to his toy chest.

Almost finished!

I hope Russell likes the color brown. Ryan decided he wanted to paint the concrete but instead of buying new paint we had leftover concrete paint which just happened to be the same color as the walls. Ah well!

Ryan is very proud of his shelves. They are extremely strong.

The last thing that needs to be done is the trim around the bottom and the door.

Russell seems excited about moving in and I'm excited about moving Luke into Russell's old room.

"Look Luke! Santa Claus! "

"Where?!?"

Room #4 update

The walls have been insulated and are now in the process of being textured. Ryan also added a wall to separate the space for the closet. After the walls are all textured and dry we will paint the room a "sand" color and hang the shelves in the closet. For the time being we are going to just use cement paint on the floor and use a large decorative rug. Eventually we will add flooring.

Window that needs repaired and an ac unit.

Close up of wall texture.

Bedroom #4 - Sheetrock

Luke helps his daddy keep track of screws.

The walls are up and it is beginning to look like a room.

Tada! Still a lot of work left but progressing quickly.
