Luke is now sitting up by himself. He will roll around the room and then pull himself into a sitting position. He has some pretty impressive muscles. I don't even think I could do that. ;) He has also started scooting. He will lay on his tummy and use his toes to scoot forward. It wont be long until he is crawling (unless he decides to walk first). He is also trying to ween himself. He loves food! At dinner I give him applesauce and if I stop he starts complaining
very loudly. He also picks crackers up with his fingers and feeds himself. He is a hard kid to keep up with. He is so great in the car now. I always think he is sleeping but he is usually playing with Kim or trying to get his toes. Whenever I need a break we go for a drive and both kids are usually asleep by the time we get home.
Kimberly is getting so big! She likes to pick out her own clothes in the morning and sometimes can even get them on herself. She is sleeping in her toddler bed. I thought it was going to be difficult to switch her from her crib to a bed but she loves it. We are taking her to the dentist next week because all the apple juice she used to drink has done damage to her teeth. That will be an expensive appointment! She loves being outdoors! She runs around and chases the dogs with her toy lawnmower. She has quite a sense of humor, too. She likes to make jokes and will crack up laughing if you say something funny. Oh, one last thing, she loooves to sing! She knows almost all of the Wee Sing Songs and will sing along to them in the car. It is quite humorous. :)
Ryan and I are doing fine. We both need a vacation but who doesn't? Ryan is still trying to fix his Montero but hopefully it will be running soon. I'm keeping busy trying to tend to my flower garden and I FINALLY got my first flower to bloom. The rest should follow suit soon. I need a project this spring/summer. I'm starting to get cabin fever. ;) I've considered enrolling Kim in "The Little Gym." She would have a ton of fun doing that and I think it would be good for her. That is about it. No pictures this time but I'm preparing a video which I will post soon.
